These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the RideReadyHub mobile app and website (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What RideReadyHub is
RideReadyHub is an online marketplace that connects vehicle owners with independent automotive service providers. Through the Platform you can:
- post a service request and receive quotes from providers;
- browse listings for repairs, parts, detailing, roadside assistance and mobile services;
- list or rent tools, garage bays and vehicle storage;
- post or apply for automotive jobs;
- publish and view Shout Outs (deals and promotions); and
- message other users and leave reviews.
RideReadyHub is not a service provider. We do not repair, tow, inspect or store vehicles, and we do not employ the providers on the Platform. Any service is a contract between the customer and the provider only.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details and verification codes private.
- Tell us right away at support@ridereadyhub.ca if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Quotes, pricing and payment
- Providers set their own prices, availability and terms. RideReadyHub does not set, control or guarantee any price.
- A quote is an offer from a provider, not from RideReadyHub. You decide which quote, if any, to accept.
- Unless the Platform clearly states otherwise, payment for a service is arranged directly between the customer and the provider.
- Some features, such as promoted listings, promoted Shout Outs or membership plans, may carry a fee. The price is shown before you buy, and the purchase is handled by our payment processor.
4. Rules for providers
If you offer services, rentals, jobs or promotions on the Platform, you agree that:
- your listings, quotes and Shout Outs are truthful, current and not misleading;
- you hold every licence, certification, permit and insurance the law requires for the work you offer;
- you will honour the quotes you send and the deals you advertise; and
- you alone are responsible for the quality, safety and legality of the work you perform.
Licences, certifications and ratings shown on a provider's profile are supplied by the provider. RideReadyHub does not independently verify them.
5. Rules for everyone
You agree not to:
- post content that is false, illegal, offensive, discriminatory or that infringes someone else's rights;
- harass, threaten or defraud other users;
- send spam or use the Platform to advertise unrelated products;
- copy, scrape or resell Platform content, or interfere with how the Platform works; or
- create an account for someone else or use another person's account.
6. Content, reviews and moderation
- You keep ownership of the content you post. You give RideReadyHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it in order to operate and promote the Platform.
- New listings, requests and Shout Outs may be reviewed before they appear, and we may edit, reject or remove content that breaks these Terms.
- Reviews must describe a real experience. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive or off-topic.
7. Intellectual property
The RideReadyHub name, logo, app and website design, and software belong to RideReadyHub or its licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, RideReadyHub makes no warranty about any provider, quote, listing, rental, job or deal, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for choosing a provider and for checking their qualifications.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, RideReadyHub is not liable for any loss or damage arising from a service, rental, job or transaction arranged through the Platform, from the conduct of any user, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
10. Indemnity
You agree to compensate RideReadyHub for claims and costs that result from your content, your services, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Platform at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Delete Account page). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users at risk, or is used for fraud.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Alberta, unless consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
